The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF) has launched a Professional Partner Program, which your business can learn more about and join by clicking on the "subscribe" buttons found on this page.

Background
FTPF works with local partner organizations and businesses around the world to create community-owned orchards, empowering residents with pride of place through community greening and access to free, fresh, healthful produce. FTPF donates orchards where the harvest will best serve communities for generations, at places such as public schools, city parks, community gardens, low-income neighborhoods, food banks, Native American reservations, and international hunger relief sites. Our programs help communities help themselves through the provision of orchards as long-term assets, along with training in their care.

Founded in 2002, FTPF has rapidly gained recognition as an effective organization that weds sustainable farming, environmental restoration, and community capacity building through the simple act of planting fruit trees. Recent projects include addressing environmental devastation in the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans through planting nine community orchards and planting thousands of fruit trees in community orchards throughout the western Indian state of Maharashtra, helping one of the poorest regions in the world restore their deforested environment and develop a sustainable long term source of fresh food.
