VOLUNTEER FRUIT TREE PLANTERS NEEDED!

The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF) is an award-winning international nonprofit charity dedicated to planting fruitful trees and plants to alleviate world hunger, combat global warming, and improve the surrounding air, soil, and water. FTPF programs strategically donate orchards where the harvest will best serve communities for generations, at places such as public schools, homeless shelters, drug rehabs, low-income neighborhoods, international hunger relief sites, and animal sanctuaries. Birmingham, Alabama School Orchard Planting (July 5, 2008)

When: Saturday, July 5, 2008 (9 am)
Where: Wenonah High School, 2800 Wilson Rd., Birmingham, AL 35221

Details: This day will be focused on planting the orchard under the direction of our certified arborist. Activities will include digging, planting, mulching, learning new skills from an arborist, and having lots of fun! No experience is necessary, and a rewarding experience is guaranteed, rain or shine!
